Homer’s Iliad

A Series of Digital Illustrations.

Having always been enthralled by Greek mythology, I found Homer’s Iliad to be quite invigorating—due to his precise attention to detail, and use of elaborate imagery.

In this series of illustrations, I depicted several scenes from Homer’s Iliad, Book Twenty-Three: The Funeral Games for Patroclus.

The Illustration, “Homer,” was selected as one of the winners of the 2010 Society of Illustrators Student Competition, and was displayed in the Museum of American Illustration in NYC, May 2010.
